How To Find Scholarships
Explore the monthly scholarships listed below. Identify and apply for those scholarships that align with your qualifications and interests.
Protect Yourself
- Remember, you should never have to pay to get a scholarship.
- Never give out personal financial information such as bank account numbers, credit card numbers, or your social security number.
- Keep in mind that small scholarships add up and are often less competitive.
- Start applying for scholarships early, as they are available for all ages year-round.

Create a scholarship resume highlighting your awards, services, experiences, activities, leadership roles, and skills. Keep it current and up-to-date to streamline the scholarship application process. Making a resume will facilitate completing scholarship applications. Prioritize the scholarships that matter most to you and focus on those first
Additional Tips:
- Use a professional email address.
- Remove immature and inappropriate materials from your social media.
- Make a copy of your application before mailing it.
- Send the application by certified mail with delivery confirmation.
- Apply early and often
Common Application Mistakes:
- Missing deadlines.
- Failing to follow directions, such as exceeding the specified essay length.
- Leaving out required information.
- Failing to tailor the application to the sponsor.
- Failing to proofread the application.
- Exaggerating or lying on the application.
- Applying for an award for which you do not qualify.
- Writing a boring or potentially offensive essay.

Summer Bridge Scholarship: Graduating Seniors. Scholarship for Ogden-Weber Tech tuition during the summer months (June-August). All students can apply, with priority given to those in Cosmetology, Barbering, Nail Tech, Apprenticeship, and students who did not complete a CTE course in high school. Awards of up to $1,000. T. H. Bell Education Scholarship (for future educators):

Weber State University & WIHS Early College Scholarship Program: Open to full-time 10th-12th-grade students at Weber Innovation High School. To qualify, students must complete WSU registration and the Weber Innovation High School Contract. The scholarship offers a reward of $1,250 per semester. Due on August 15th or December 15th.

Hogan & Associates Construction: High school seniors who are interested in achieving a degree or trade in a construction-related field. Our goal with the scholarships is to give back to our community members, who will then, in turn, have a positive impact on those same communities. The two 2024 scholarships will each be for $1,000. During this week-long summer event, 250-300 selected delegates create and operate city, school board, county and state governments, while developing leadership skills and an appreciation of their rights as a citizen. Participants run for office, learn public speaking skills, create and write legislation, and actively participate in all phases of creating and running a working government. Participation will also include 3 PoliSci 2920 credits at Weber State University and the opportunity to receive a school scholarship. Due 3/31/24

Utah Jazz Schoarship: The Jazz will give up to 30 full ride, four year scholarships for each win during the 20-21 season. Must graduate from a Utah high school, person of color with financial need.
