American Legion Girls State (Juniors Girls Only): Girls' State will be held June 5-10, 2023 at Weber State University, $450. During this week-long summer event, 250-300 selected delegates create and operate city, school board, county and state governments, while developing leadership skills and an appreciation of their rights as a citizen. Participants run for office, learn public speaking skills, create and write legislation, and actively participate in all phases of creating and running a working government.   Participation will also include 3 PoliSci 2920 credits at Weber State University and the opportunity to receive a school scholarship. Rotary Club of Ogden: "Service above Self"  The scholarship award is based on service and is to be used for tuition and institution assessed fees only.  Applicants must be residents of Weber County.  The scholarship will be disbursed for up to $1,000 per semester, and must be used within a four years period after being awarded. USIP National High School Essay Contest:  High school student.  In your essay, you will select a country or region in which the U.S. Foreign Service has been involved in at any point since 1924 and describe — in 1,500 words or less — how the Foreign Service was successful or unsuccessful in advancing American foreign policy goals, including promoting peace, in this country/region and propose ways in which it might continue to improve those goals in the coming years.  Award up to $2,500. Due 4/1/24

Utah Jazz Schoarship:    The Jazz will give up to 30 full ride, four year scholarships for each win during the 20-21 season. Must graduate from a Utah high school, person of color with financial need.  Preference will be given to first-generation college students attending one of six Utah Universities.  Award will cover tutition, books, fees, room and board.  Due 4/2/22

Virtual Business Scholarship Challenge:  When April 3rd-14th.  Students at any school or district with an All Access Virtual Business license can compete and test their skills against students across the country.  Winners will be awarded sizable scholarships.  Register before April 3rd.
